The reverse tuck box offers the folding closure (tuck flap) on the short side... Think of the box that holds a deck of playing cards... The flap is at the side and the cards slide in.
The regular flap style folding box offers the closure (tuck flap) on the top side... Think of a treasure chest or foot locker...
Reverse tuck boxes generally offer a fairly narrow width in a wide varied of heights & depths. generally a great choice for items such as incense, tapered candles, pencils, and such while regular tuck boxes are better suited for items that have a a bigger depth
